Ada May Woolloff (1896-1976) was the maid at Seward House from 1915 and is mentioned in several of the Sladden family letters.

Ada was born at Charlton, Worcestershire, the eighth of nine children of Richard Woolloff, a cowman, and his wife, Harriett (née King).
