Appeared personally Matthew Flynn of Symonds Inn, Chancery Lane, Esquire and Edward Blunt of Collingwood Street in the parish of Christ Church, Surrey, journeyman and jointly and severally made oath that they know and were well acquainted with John Harrington late of Holborn in the parish of St Andrew Holborn, Middlesex, deceased for many years before and down to the time of his decease and having during such time frequently seen him the said John Harrington write and subscribe his name.  They have thereby become well acquainted with his manner and character of handwriting and having now viewed and carefully perused the paper, writing purporting to be and contain a codicil to the last will and testament of the said deceased they do verify and in their consciences believe the signature John Harrington subscribed to the said paper writing to be of the proper handwriting and subscription of the said John Harrington deceased
