Girl Guiding
The organisation, Girl Guides, was introduced in 1909 because girls demanded to take part in the Boy Scout Movement which had just begun. A Girl Guide group first started in Badsey in 1930. It disbanded in 1950 and was re-formed in 1976. Today in Badsey there are four sections: Rainbows (5-7 years), Brownies (7-10 years), Guides (10-14 years), Senior Section (14-26).
