Scanned copies of 3 postcards of a missionary pageant, “Britain’s Call”, at Evesham in the early 1920s, in which a number of Badsey residents participated, together with an accompanying letter by Miss A Bird of 77 Bretforton Road, Badsey, writing to Peggy Hancock on 27th October 1983. The writer identifies all the people in the top photo. Back row - Harry Green, George Jones, Marjorie Pethard (married Bert Collett), Charles Knight, Archie Reed; middle row - C A Binyon, Canon Allsebrook, Mrs M Savory (née Maggie March); front row - Mrs Jim Dale (née Beatrice Ollson), John H Bird, Gwendoline Willis (married George Hancock), Gladys Barnard (née Byrd), Ruby Jones (all Badsey people). Original postcards in the possession of Peggy Hancock. Top photo has the words "Copyright photograph by Percy Simms, Chipping Norton" written on the reverse; the other two photos are by Fred Gegg of Evesham.
