The Bible is inscribed "Juliet Sladden Dec. 1936 ( Bible formerly belonging to Zoe Fairfield obit 9.12.36)". In the pages are 3 handwritten notes, a Christmas Day bookmark with a broken ribbon and a 4.5cm x 5.5cm ticket for Fri. Dec. 21st St. Thomas Day quotation from St. John xx. 29. The owner has added text in ink in her own hand in places throughout the Bible.
