Ivy Doreen Barbara DORE 1919

Ivy Doris Barbara Dore (1906-2003), known as Barbara, was born on 20th November 1906 at Badsey, the second of three daughters of David John Sears Dore and his wife, Amy Alice.  Barbara entered Badsey Council School in October 1910 and left in September 1919 when she gained a scholarship to Evesham Grammar School.  On 31st December 1925, Barbara married Harold Reuben Wheatley at St James’ Church, Badsey.  She died on 31st July 2003, aged 96.
