Arthur Sladden

Arthur Francis Savory Sladden, taken around 1896, possibly wearing the uniform of Christ College, Brecon.

A second photo, obviously taken on the same occasion, has recently come to light. It was given to Fanny Caroline Jelfs who was nurse to the Sladden children in the 1890s. We are grateful to Eric Rose (grandson of Fanny Jelfs), for providing us with a copy of this photograph which was passed on to him by his mother, Doris Winifred Rose (née Jelfs), Fanny’s youngest daughter.
