1940 wedding – John Styles & Illot Wasley

The marriage of John Stephen Styles (1910-1942) and Illot Betty Wasley (1915-2007), of an Aldington family, in the Evesham district in the summer of 1940. John, known as Jack, died in 1942 from wounds in North Africa while serving as a gunner with the 8th Army. Jack was 6 months old at the 1911 census. His parents were Stephen and Annie Styles.
