1951 wedding – Peter Byrd & Joyce Heritage

Wedding at St Peter’s Church, Bengeworth, on 1st August 1951 of Peter Byrd and Joyce Agnes Heritage.  A report of the wedding appeared in The Evesham Standard of 10th August 1951.

Peter (1926-2016) was the third of four children of Samuel James Byrd and his wife, Emma Maud, of Rose Cottage, Aldington.  Joyce (1928-2011) was the only daughter of R E and the late Alan Heritage of 39 Deacle Place.  Peter’s parents are pictured on the left of the photo and Joyce’s mother on the right.
