Emil Anton Olsson

Emil Anton Olsson (1873-1949) was born in Malmo, Sweden, but emigrated to England at the end of the 19th century.  He came to Badsey in 1904 where he became well known as a market gardener, living at Claybrook Nurseries on Bretforton Road.  He was naturalised as a British citizen in August 1914.
 
We are grateful to his grandsons, Tim and Jerry Cowell, for providing these photos of both Emil and his second wife, Agnes (possibly taken the year of their marriage, 1917).
