VE day parade

This VE day parade was in Broadway on 8 May 1945. It was led by Colonel Sidney followed by Wickhamford resident Leslie Poulter acting as parade marshall. The small boy is identified as 'Dr Haughton's son'. The group behind are the American Field Interrogation Detachment. The salute was taken by General Sir Francis Davis.
