13. Visit to Hornsfield Nurseries

The publication of Digging for a Living generated some interest in present day horticulture in the Vale. The Badsey Society organised a visit Hornsfield Nurseries on Willersey Road where six acres of tomatoes are grown hydroponically under glass. The picture shows Roly Holt of R & L Holt showing us around. The nursery features in our film The Market Gardener.
