29. The film launch

We began October 2012 with the spectacular launch of 'The Market Gardener' at The Regal Cinema in Evesham. Over 150 people were present in the wonderful art-deco surroundings of the newly-restored cinema to see the Badsey Society's film. It is a documentary film about market gardeners and their families in the Vale of Evesham. It is the fascinating story of small family businesses working to make a living from the land, told through interviews and archive footage. Here is more information about the film The Market Gardener.
