Green Woodpecker

A green woodpecker looking for worms in a Wickhamford garden.  The speckled feathers indicate this is a juvenile bird.  Another example (below), was taken at a different time and shows one very close to the house.  Adult birds are much more skittish and disappear at the slightest sign of movement.
