Doreen BALLARD 1936

Doreen Ballard (1922-2005) was a pupil at Badsey Council School from January 1928 to December 1936.  Born at Badsey on 11th December 1922, she was the third of four children of Alfred William Ballard, a market gardener, and his wife, Emily Ada.  Doreen married William Arthur Moore in 1945.  A copy of Bygone Days, her memories of growing up in Badsey, written for her six grandchildren, is in the Badsey Archive.
