Abbey Manor List of Helpers

Scroll presented to Mrs Florence Haynes-Rudge after the war containing the names of all nurses and helpers at Abbey Manor.  The wording on the scroll says:

TO MRS HAYNES-RUDGE CBE, COMMANDANT, RED CROSS, WORCESTER, 66 DETACHMENT

We the undersigned being nurses and helpers at the abbey Manor Auxiliary Hospital, Evesham, desire to testify our appreciation of your management as Commandant during the four years that the Hospital has been carried on.  We thank you for the constant kindness and consideration we have received from you.  It is entirely due to your tactful and considerate management that the work has been so successfully accomplished and that we have been able to carry on our work in helping with such happy unanimity.  We shall always look back upon these years of work under you with pleasure and gratitude.
