Three of the Sladden sons – Jack, Arthur and Cyril – were pupils at Christ College, Brecon. These postcards show a school production Christmas 1908 at Christ College, Brecon. Cyril Sladden, the youngest son, who left in 1909, played the starring role of Dr Pangloss in George Colman’s The Heir at Law. This was his last year at the school before going up to Oxford. A review of his performance may be seen in the school magazine, The Breconian.
