Christ Church Roll of Service

Cyril Sladden’s name is included in the Roll of Service for Christ Church, Oxford, his former college.  It contains the names of 14,561 men from the university who served in the Military and Naval forces during the war.

For each person who served, the following information was given:  date of matriculation; name, degree and distinctions gained before the war; date of commencement of service; rank, unit and, in brackets, highest acting rank; fields of foreign service; distinctions gained during the war (dates as in The Gazette); mentions in dispatches.  Cecil Sladden’s name appears on pages 60:
