Received from Sergeant Sladden in charge of escort
The undermentioned numbers of prisoners of war:
Officers – 0, Other Ranks – 55; Total – 55
Time 16.40, Date 4th November 1918
A red stamp says “Convalescent Depot German Prisoners of War”.
It seems that George Sladden, who is believed to have been back in England by then, was escorting 55 prisoners of war
