1951 wedding – Bill Walters & Vera Drinkwater

The wedding took place at Evesham Registry Office in 1951 of Charles William Walters, aka Bill (1923-1993), the son of Robert William and Elsie Jane Walters of Manor Road, Wickhamford, and Vera Drinkwater (née Clarke), daughter of William and Sarah Jane Clarke of Hampton, Evesham. They lived firstly at 1 Manor Close, Wickhamford and then 42 Manor Road and 8 Manor Road before moving to the bungalow they had built in the garden of 8 Manor Road, Wickhamford. Bill was a market gardener in Wickhamford all his working life. They had no children.
