Infant Welfare Christmas Party 1959
In the 1950s, Infant Welfare Clinics for mothers and young children were a common feature in villages and towns. One such clinic was held in Badsey. A brief report in The Evesham Standard of Friday 18th December 1959 reveals that a dance was held in the Remembrance Hall on 11th December in which over £10 was raised in aid of the funds for the Badsey Infant Welfare Christmas party.
