2 spot ladybird

Adalia bipunctata is normally the familiar red ladybird with two black spots but this variation is also common where the colours are virtually reversed. This one is sitting on a sweetcorn leaf. The adults and larvae are voracious aphid predators but generally seem to only become common when the aphid damage is well under way.
