Willis family

In this picture are Alice Lilian ('Lil') Willis  (1910-1990) on the left and her husband Clarence Henry (1905-1985) on the right.  Their daughter, Barbara, and her husband, Trevor Green, are to the left centre and their son, Gordon John (1934-2017), known as 'Digby', to the right centre.  The Willis family lived at 3 Sandys Avenue, Wickhamford and, for the 1939 Register, Clarence was listed as a market gardener's labourer.   He had married Alice Lilian Penson in 1933.  Barbara Willis  married Trevor Green in Wickhamford in January 1954.
