Agricultural/Casual Labour

These maps show the concentration of labour in Worcestershire. It was commented that the density of regular workers was highest in the Avon valley, where it rose to over 20 workers per 100 acres. The distribution of casual labour was closely correlated to areas of more specialised farming e.g. hop and fruit growing in the Teme Valley and market gardening in the Evesham area.
