Women's Voluntary Service, 1940

The photograph is taken in the Manor gardens. Mrs Drysdale was the mother of Roger Drysdale, who died in WW1 and is listed on the War Memorial in Wickhamford church. There is also a plaque dedicated to her in the Church because of her service to the village for over 40 years.
