The Manor House

The Manor House is also called the 'Seyne House' because it was originally a sick house for the monks of Evesham Abbey. In 1545, after the dissolution of the monasteries, Sir Philip Hoby acquired it and later rebuilt it as an Elizabethan manor house. In the final year of WW1 German prisoners of war were held in the Manor House. See also Track Changes.
