The Poplars

This picture is described in A Brief History of Badsey and Aldington: "The Poplars in the early part of the twentieth century, some sixty years before the house was demolished. Just inside the gate stands William Pethard, who died in 1908 at the age of 42. Outside is William Mustoe, who was for several years landlord of the Royal Oak Inn; he died in 1944 aged 102."
