Wednesday 17 June 1863 – Charles Knight and Caleb Weaver attempt to steal fish

ATTEMPT TO STEAL FISH

Charles Knight and Caleb Weaver, both of Badsey, were summoned by R Ashwin, Esq, of Aldington, for unlawfully attempting to take fish from a brook running through his estate.  Both pleaded guilty and were fined 5s and costs 7s 6d each.
