Miss D J Caswell and Mr C W J Barnett

A wedding of much local interest took place at St James’ Church, Badsey, on Monday, when Miss Dorothy J Caswell, only daughter of Mr & Mrs Frank Caswell of Chapel Street, Badsey, was married to Mr Charles W J Barnett, eldest son of Mr & Mrs C Barnett of Port Street, Evesham.

The ceremony was conducted by the Vicar, the Rev Canon W C Allsebrook.

The bride wore a two-piece of lavender blue wool marocain trimmed with cyclamen, together with navy blue hat and shoes and a spray of cyclamen.  Her ivory prayer book was the gift of the bridegroom.  She was given away by her father.  Mr W Brewer was best man.

Mr & Mrs Barnett’s future address will by Chapel Street, Badsey.
