EVESHAM MAN’S BADSEY BRIDE
Mr R Harker and Miss M L Mustoe

The wedding took place at St James’ Church, Badsey, on Wednesday week of Miss Margaret Louise Mustoe, fourth daughter of Mrs Ernest Edward Mustoe of Ivydene, Bretforton Road, Badsey, and Mr Ronald Harker, second son of Mr Harry Harker of 33 Kings Road, Bengeworth, Evesham.

Given away by her brother, Mr Ernest Leslie Mustoe, the bride wore a two-piece ensemble in two shades of mauve, with black hat and shoes and wore a spray of mauve orchids.

The matron of honour, Mrs E L Harwood (bride’s sister) was attired in a black ensemble with hat and shoes to tone and wore a spray of mauve orchids.

The ceremony was conducted by the Vicar of Badsey, Canon W C Allsebrook, and the hymns “Lead us Heavenly Father”, “O Perfect Love” and “Thine for ever God of Love” were played at the organ by Mr Sharp.  Mr Frank Clarke of Hampton acted as best man.

Upwards of 40 guests attended a reception which followed at the Royal Oak Inn, Badsey.  The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a dressing table set, and to the matron of honour a gold bracelet.  The bride presented the bridegroom with a gold tie pin.
