BADSEY WEDDING

The marriage took place at St James’ Church, Badsey, of Miss Joyce Hardiman, only daughter of Mr & Mrs T W Hardiman, Orchard View, Badsey, and Mr Trevor Owens, only son of Mr & Mrs Owens, Leamington.  The Vicar, Canon W C Allsebrook, officiated.  The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a duck green costume with black hat and matching accessories, and a spray of pink carnations.  She was attended by Miss Pat Mustoe who was attired in a floral dress with black hat and matching accessories and wore a spray of white carnations.  Mr Eddie Mace was best man.  On leaving the church the bride was presented with a silver key by little Joan Oram, the bridegroom’s cousin.  The bridegroom, who is now serving with the RAF, was previously employed by the Prudential Insurance Company.  The honeymoon is being spent at Henley-in-Arden.
