BADSEY WEDDING

On Saturday week the marriage was solemnised between Miss Bertha Turner, fourth daughter of Mr & Mrs William Charles Turner of Broad Campden, Chipping Campden, Glos, and Mr Sydney Phillip Cull, second son of the late Mr Walter Cull and Mrs W Cull of Bowers Hill, Badsey.  The wedding took place at St James’ Church, Badsey, and was conducted by the Vicar of Bretforton, Rev C M Stickings.  The bride was charmingly attired in a two-piece suit and was given away by Mr Walter Archer of Main Street, Bretforton.  Mr Reginald Welch, the bride’s brother-in-law, of Badsey, acted as best man.  Following the ceremony the happy couple travelled to Weston-super-Mare where their honeymoon was spent.
