My Dearest Wife,
As I anticipated the Irishman sent a telegram this afternoon to say he would be here to-morrow, however I do not know that it much matters except that there was a journey for him which must be deferred. We have signed the lease to-day so that is all right, to-morrow I may just run over to Badsey to see how they are getting on with the house. My back does not trouble me so I am in hopes I shall not get a touch of lumbago this time, my “little wife” may rest assured that I will take care. Please excuse a shabby note but I have nothing to say. Kiss baby for me and believe me
Ever your loving husband
Julius Sladden
