My dearest Wife,
I meant to have written this morning from Folkestone, but the dentist took up most of my time before my train left, I think he has made a pretty good job with three teeth, he charged 25/- but it occupied him 2½ hours altogether, for he began on Monday.
Yesterday was dull and very windy but it has been pleasant again to-day. Uncle George, who has been better of late, was quite poorly to-day and I shall call in and see him on my return to-morrow.
Perhaps you will write to Eva Hunt as I have not much time, the firm I mentioned are Ward & Hughes by Frith St, Soho, W, no doubt they would be pleased to refer her to work done in her locality. I suppose May left for Richmond to-day, if she meets me in London on Saturday with Mary they might help to choose the clasp which I had not time to purchase before.
I must write to Arthur when I get back to Folkestone, I have not yet received his letter. To-morrow morning I must go over to Ash and see Aunt Susan. They are all pretty well here, Marian is still at Streatham.
There does not seem much more news and as Frank is waiting to go to post I will close.
