My dear Eugénie,
You may like to have the girls’ letters so I will post them on, we shall expect to hear in the morning by what train you are coming, I suppose you have consulted Anna who is I think an authority on time tables!
Arthur left to-day he does not expect a scholarship from Cambridge and I fancy his chances will be better at Oxford.
I have been engaged most of the day on County Council business, have just walked home with Ethel.
We shall be very glad to get you back.
Love to all at Richmond
Your loving Husband
Julius Sladden
