My darling Husband,
Thank you for your nice long letter, I have written to Miss Gardner & your Mother, & have accepted the offer of a room, provided your Mother had not already made other arrangements for us.
I suppose we shall see you tomorrow abut dinner-time. Jack is a better boy now, he went into the nursey alone this morning at breakfast time. He did not quite approve of going out just now, wanted me to go too, but I expect he is quite happy by this time, as his kind Auntie gave him a shilling to go & spend at the toy-shop. I am so glad to hear good accounts of May & Baby, tell Fanny to be sure & keep the bandage on May’s arm till the Doctor says it may be safely taken off.
Give them both a good kiss from Mamma. Do not forget to take the silver up to Evesham, if you have not already done so. I am glad to hear that Mrs Savory is getting on pretty well.
One of the Butlers has just come in so I must close. Jack sends you a kiss & with much love believe me
Your loving wife
Eugénie N Sladden
