My Dear Mother
I thought I would write to you as I had nothing else to do.
I slept in Fanny’s room last night as Father slept in the spare room, but when he goes I shall sleep there. I go to bed at eight o clock here and so do Anna and Fanny last night, they had some friends to tea. Fanny poured out tea out of her teaset, she says I shall pour out next time. Fanny says that we are going to Miss Robinson’s this afternoon. We all went to church this morning but when we came out it snowed and none of us had got umbrellas so we had to make hast home, we did not get very wet.
I don’t think I left anything behind, give my love to Kathleen and tell her that I hope she looks after the Birds properly and gives them enough food.
Fanny says that when she went to Guston she enjoyed herself very much.
I don’t think I have any more to say so I must say goodbye with love to all I remain
your affectionate daughter
