My dear Mother
Yesterday we went to Ash and saw Aunt Susan, we went over Grandma’s house, I guessed which it was, Uncle drove us over. We met Uncle Tom and all from Goshall driving to St Margaret’s. My umbrella blew inside-out.
Aunt George had some friends to tea yesterday, we went out with Grandma in her bath chair, we went down to the sea.
This morning Auntie took us to see Mrs Hilton, who, she says is your cousin, we saw her little girls and she showed us a toy bear which growled when it was wound up, and also a duck which waddled along.
It is very rainy today and it did rain a little yesterday but it was very fine for us to go to St Margaret’s.
Auntie has got some games for us, and some books. This morning we shelled some peas for Aunt George. We had duck yesterday and today for dinner.
I hope you are all quite well at home. Goodbye dear Mother with much love to all
I remain
your loving daughter
