My dear Mother
Thank you very much for your letter, Grandma is much better but when we came here on Friday it was very hot, I said I should never get cool again, the heat up set her but she is much better now. I am going to send Jack’s report back in this letter, everybody says it is very good.
We have only practised four times while we have been away we have so little time for writing letter and practising.
Yesterday we went out hop picking, I picked one bushel and Kathleen did nearly. Today Auntie Fanny was to come over but I don’t think will as it is very stormy.
This morning we saw the Bellaines drive past in a fly. Miss Gardener was going to take them up to London. I send my love to all.
I remain
your affectionate daughter
