My dear Mother
I thought I would write to you once more, as Father is writing. We shall all be very glad to get you home again. Cyril says Missy’s room is not so nice as yours to sleep in, he means to stop awake till you come on Wednesday.
We three girls are going to a party at Mrs Ashwin’s on Wednesday, it is from four till eight o’clock. Kathleen and I are going to wear our pink frocks and Ethel her white. Kathleen had to get herself a new pair of shoes, as she had not got any fit to wear.
Father is going to have a fly for you to drive down in, and then will send it on to Bretforton to fetch us back. If it is fine Father is coming down on Wednesday afternoon to do some roses, and then will take the two boys up with him and let them come down in the fly with you.
There are some lectures on health going on at Evesham every Saturday, Miss Fabling and me went last Saturday to hear it. It was on nursing infectious cases and was very interesting.
Chuky has hatched five chicks, they seem very jolly at present. I hope we shall rear them.
We all send our best love and kisses to you and to Auntie and the cousins.
