My dear Kathleen,
I have not a great deal to say today, as I wrote last Monday, still I will write a few lines as it is my day. I am going to Fanny’s wedding on the 31st Miss Waters has given me leave. I have been wondering whether if the chicken pox is well by then I could come to Clewer on your birthday & stay possibly till early Monday morning if I could get leave to come back here a little late for school. You must let me know if you think the chicken pox will allow of it. I could not come for Easter as we break up April 6th so of course I shall go home. I meant to write to Kitty Klam today but it is so late I have not time, as it is you will not get this till later than usual, I had not time to write this before post time.
I met Miss Newton today she came up & asked if I was Miss Sladden, but I don’t know how she knew me. She says she will write & invite me there one day, I think either next Saturday or Sunday.
I think I shall wait & give Ethel a Confirmation present in the holidays, it will be easier to find out what she will like then. What day do you break up? I hope in Easter week or our holidays will not come much together.

Just think only a month today till we break up! It’s simply glorious to think of! I will address the envelope this time to Emily as the longer letter is for her. I am so glad you are getting on with hockey.
