Dear Mother

I am just off again this morning, to go further up country. I hope to find plenty of time to write on the way. I posted to Mela yesterday, so I hope you may get fuller news of me from her.

I had May’s long letter, which she wrote on Feb 6th, about two days ago. I hope your recovery has been rapid and complete, you were in bed the last time she wrote.

Weather here is quite good and pleasant.
