My own dear Cyril
I’m scribbling this while waiting to be interviewed by the Matron and Medical Officer in attendance.
First impressions very good – am billeted in the Sisters’ Quarters for which I am very thankful, and not in the houses in the Bristol Road. There is a beautiful garden and the room I share with Miss Holtom from Cleeve overlooks it. It is a very nice airy room.
Mustoe gave me some beautiful flowers before I came away.
I have already seen several nurses I know who are now Sisters, so do not feel very strange.
No time for me.
Best love from
Mela.
