My dear Cyril
A long letter from you reached me today to my great surprise – because the Xmas mail came in at Badsey on the 23rd.
I was so glad to read you were better and from the tone of your letter the rest in bed seems to have wired you up.
You ask me what branch of the 1st Southern Hospital I am in. I am in the same one as before. The one commonly spoken of as Bournbrooke.
Best of love and luck to you.
Yours ever
M
