Dear Aunt Eugénie
Arthur begs me to thank you very much for taking so much trouble about him and Uncle Fred will no doubt let you know to what advantage the £5 will be put to for his stay at the seaside. I will certainly not ask you again for anything as you cannot be a very fit woman and I am not sure that you have done anything for me yet (barring the suit you sent Arthur) so you need not be afraid of any [?] again. Arthur is eight and will soon be nine, he is looking forward with great excitement to get away to the sea (he loves it), I really think it will do him a world of good for he has a lot of things wrong with him and his foot cannot be attended to properly. The doctor [?] he will be cured. I hope your rheumatism is better, no doubt you wanted a change.
With love from us both.
Yours affectionately
Annie Hodson
