In June 1995, Badsey First School celebrated the 100th birthday of the school building by holding a Victorian Day. Staff and pupils dressed up in Victorian costume and sat down to lunch in the school playground. As a special attraction on the day, a helicopter flew over the school and took photographs. The children were placed on the field to make the figure 100, photos were taken, then the helicopter landed, the children were able to talk to the pilot and have their photos taken beside the helicopter. The following photos give a flavour of the activities on that day. If you were then, and would like to record your memories of the day, we would love to hear from you.
