I, Richard Harward, yeoman, being sick and weak

  • Wheareas by the will of my brother, Ralph Harward, late of Badsey, yeoman, deceased, all the real estate of my brother (a certain close called the Netherfield Close with the appurtenances now given) to hold until my son John Harward should attain the age of 27
  • I give to my loving wife Katherine Harward all my former right hithertobefore in the effects and closes
  • To my wife my tenement in Badsey wherein Mr Thomas Wright doth now dwell to hold for he during the term of her natural life and after her decease to my son John Harward his heirs and assigns
  • To my daughter Elizabeth Harward £50 to be paid when she reaches the age of 27
  • Whereas the closes called Netherfield Close was a the time of the demise of my brother Ralph mortgaged to Mr William Forest for the sum of £30 which mortgage I know is still redeemable I bequeath all my right to my daughter until the sum of £30
