April 29th

Dear Eugenie

Dolly’s plans are again altered, Aunt Lizzie suggests going to London for a week on 13th May and then taking Dolly back with her that she may spend Whitsun at Eastbourne.  I have written to Dolly today telling her of Aunt L’s proposal which I have no doubt Dolly will like to accept.  Well I have been looking at the dates and I see Whit Sunday comes on 28th May and I propose joining Dolly in London on that date and staying until 8th June or until 11th June then coming to you if convenient for a week.  You see the Castellaines of Bath have asked Dolly for a few days between the 14th and 27th June and from there she hopes to fit in a short visit to the Compton cousins and also to go to Bristol if it should suit the Worsfolds.  When July comes in I should be rather glad to have Dolly back again for if I have Cyril or Norah back it is more amusing for my visitors and I think you are going away again.  Anyhow Dolly could spend a little time with you in the early autumn in you liked. Miss de C will be away in July I expect and then I thought I could put Cyril up - Ethel I know could not come to Folkestone unless one of the other girls could be at home.  Dolly is hoping to see a little of Kathleen while in London and Aunt George has written to ask us to spend a day at Mottingham.  I want Dolly to see some of the gardens such as Kew, Hampton Court.  I do hope Juliet is improving. It is nice that you have a pc from that acquaintance at the hotel.

It is so cold we are glad of a fire again.

With love to you and Ethel

Believe me

Your affectionate sister

C M Hayward

I am thankful those desperadoes have been killed in Paris.
