Newsletter of the Worcestershire Archaeological Society, transcript of a lecture from the 2005-6 programme given by Chris Potter, former Headmaster - history of the school founded by Thomas Foley. The Foleys were one-time Lords of the Manor of Aldington, Badsey; 60 boys made up the school, 46 from named parishes in Worcestershire and Staffordshire, normally places with which the Foleys had a connection.

Supporting Information
The Foley family were one-time owners of the manors of Badsey, Aldington and Wickhamford. Thomas William Marshall of Badsey gained a scholarship to Old Swinford in 1933.
