Raymond Woodedd lived with his parents, William Martin and Mary Ann Woodedd, on Longdon Hill at what is now Orchard Farm. He appears on the 1939 Register as a market gardener's labourer. In 1943, he was married at Deepcut, Surrey, where there was an Army barracks. A picture of him and his bride, Hannah Elliott, appears on a family tree in ancestry where he is in Army uniform. No details of his war-time service have been found to date. A newspaper report concerning his father's funeral on 16th August 1940, mentions that he was a Private in the Army at that time.
He died in 2000 in Tredington, Warwickshire.
